When I took this adventure, when I took his hand that day
I should have known. I should have guessed that whatever happened to me would happen for a reason. That what events crossed my mind would be my fault and my fault alone. It was all my fault that this happened, it was all my bloody fucking fault. And no Timelord or UNIT member was going to tell me other wise. No Face of Boe or adorable coffee boy was going to tell me that I was just another victim. I knew since I was a child that people died. I knew that something that gravitated around me killed people. It killed people to make me stronger. And even now as I look at the man who had saved millions of lives and promised me hundreds of things. For the first time in my life I looked at him. And he turned away in shame.
This is the Doctor by the way. I tugged Mary along behind me, gripping her hand tighter than I ever had. I finally let go, stopping by the TARDIS consol that lit my face up. The bright blue lights contrasting with my blonde hair.
Hello. The Doctor beamed, eyeing me carefully like I had been hiding something. It was a little known fact that he could see right through me. But I watched Mary walk around like a doting parent, my eyes never leaving her for a second until the caught the Doctors gaze. I tilted my head at him, and he silently stared at me, swinging his shoulders back and forth trying to figure out what I was thinking. I merely stared back at him with a silent dead pan look, not moving and inch, my lips twitched a little before they followed Mary again.
Mary, how old are you? The Doctors eyes never left me.
Twelve
The girl replied, her eyes to buys marveling the devices that were laid before her. Her jaw slack as she ran her fingers over the TARDIS controls. Shed never seen technology like this before, and she never would. She let purple gloves grip at every knob but not turn it, feel every dent and every curve but not harm it.
Whens youre birthday? I looked to the Doctor that time, what was he trying to figure out? I narrowed my eyes and tilted my head. Questioning whatever the Doctor had been questioning.
April 11th, 1960. She replied, looking up at the two of us. A frown hit the Doctors face, and he looked at Mary. Apparently whatever he was thinking was wrong, he blew air out through lips, his cheeks puffing.
They werent just taking from planets they were taking from time
How unlucky were you?
Not that unlucky. Marys eyes flittered to the man; she seemed to size him up. Trying to figure out what he was, I was living on the streets
she swallowed, her hands finding goggles that were sitting lifelessly on the TARDIS console. Her hands lifting them to her eyes, When I was taken to the ship infirmary I was diagnosed with a deep chest cold
much longer outside
Id have pneumonia
I would have died. She said glancing to the side, Living on the streets of New York
she gaped at the goggles, the lenses allowed her to see infrared. Broken machinery shined bright white, and the Doctor appeared in purples and blues compared to I who appeared in reds and yellows.
You can have those if you like
the Doctor gestured lightly to the dark green goggles with the red lenses, Theyre infrared
Broken bits of machinery shine white. He grinned, You like machines dont you
I see you looking at the TARDIS like its the best thing youve ever seen.
Really? the girl slipped the goggles over her blonde pigtails, bringing them to rest on top of her head, Oh, well yeah, Ive only been on one Alien ship, but this is bloody amazing. She said, Youre
chameleon circuit is broken though. She said gesturing to a few buttons beside a lever. Her eyes fell to me for a moment, but I was just smiling. So. What do we do now? How does your ship work? Can you show me? she beamed, Mary never seemed to slow down. It brought the Doctor a bit of excitement, seeing someone thriving to learn, thriving to see and build. Boy
imagine what taking this-
She. The Doctor raised a finger, Rule one. No taking apart the TARDIS, shes a living being. She wont like it very much if you do that. He grinned at her, bringing her to look at the screen. I smiled, the Doctor catching my smile once more, Hold on a second Mary
he walked over to me grabbing my shoulder and directing me closer to the TARDIS doors. Why are you staring at her? I already figured shes not your daughter, time wise, she could be your grandmother.
Youre close. I said, sighing, The world would find a way, yeah? I grinned, Remember that girl
on my door.
Youre joking. He turned and looked at her, a small smile fluttered on his face, Well isnt that something
Ever since I met you I began to wonder if any thoughts were just
thoughts. But Im beginning to think something sends us the inspiration to make these things. Somewhere theres
a Harry Potter, and somewhere theres mutants and Super heroes.
Harry Potter, dont push your luck. He grinned, but he glanced at her, You know everything about her
?
Like she were my daughter
I know what happened to her parents
who shell become, what happens to her
I suddenly frowned, glancing at him, You
break her heart. I said softly. He stared at me absently, Not on purpose
shes suppose to travel with you, not while Im around of course
Travel with you
and you lose her one day. Something
tears you two apart and you cant find her
my eyes glistened a little, You cant find her and she panics
Jack doesnt know her, no one knows her
she gets sent to orphanage after orphanage till she comes of age
I glanced at the Doctor who seemed transfixed, Becomes weapons specialist in UNIT. Shes bloody brilliant. I smiled a little, But every day shell think about you
look for you
miss you. I sighed, But everyone of us does that
dont we? The Doctor stared at me blankly. I stared at Mary who was gaping at the nebulas displayed on the screen.
Bryanna, we should take her home.
So she can die? No. I glared at him, Marys parents were killed by aliens, the aliens impersonated her parents until they were discovered for murders and were captured. I stated, She will not die. Shes a bloody genius, youll love her
Just
give her a chance. It was like I always asked for, someone the Doctor didnt have to lose, someone he could take care of and someone that could take care of him. I was still going to be around, so why not have her about? Hm? Didnt matter I could use the company at least. He could do me that bit of courtesy. Neither of us would be jumping in his pants too soon either, thank god. So where-
A blazing screeching noise flushed through the TARDIS system, blaring viciously through the speakers like screaming vultures. My hands flew to my ears and I buckled down, the Doctor rushing over to Mary where the screen became scrambled and the TARDIS slowly began to fall out of orbit around the earth. Something was going on, something was wrong. And it wasnt until the TARDIS crashed into the ground, did I realize this, we were back on planet earth. I sat up, and realized that I was on the TARDIS wall, staring at the round orbs that were jutting from the ceiling I panicked, looking to the Doctor, who had blocked Mary from slamming into a dome. I crawled over.
Doctor, hey, heyyy get up. I slapped his face gently and he groaned.
Not the best landing Ive ever had, eh? he grinned lopsided at me, slowly releasing his grip on Marys side. Mary shook her head, sneezing some of the dust from the bridge of her nose.
That doesnt always happen, does it? she asked glancing to me. I shook my head and crawled toward the door.
Not on a good day. I replied, slamming the palm of my hand against the door before sitting back and kicking it open. The TARDIS had landed on its side, and from the looks of it skirted a few steps from where it originally hit. I glanced around crawling out; it appeared we were in a school yard, an empty one at that. The children were all in doing their lessons, from the looks of it this was a soccer field. Or football since I wasnt in America anymore. I stood up and brushed myself off, the Doctor and Mary joining me. I glanced around wrinkling my nose as the Doctor tried to push the TARDIS back up right. He couldnt even budge it, Did you honestly think it would be that light?
I was hoping
he muttered looking sadly down at his poor TARDIS. I shook my head and looked around. Whats that up there, a school? I saw a bunch of red vests and sweaters. But nothing was moving. I could barely see the mentors shaking the kids. I glanced to the Doctor. Well thats weird, hey, lets go-
We are coming.
What? I turned to look at Mary, frozen in her spot just as the others, staring blankly at the sky. Mary what was that?
We are coming. She repeated. I could hear the chorus of the children chime in with her.
Doctor what the hell is happening?
Mary listen to me. The Doctor kneeled by her, Whos coming? he shinned the Sonic Screwdriver in her eye. I stared blankly. What was this? Mary? Whos coming Mary, answer me!
We are coming.
This is bloody insane Doctor, whats going on? I looked at the hill that separated myself from the children and booked it up the hill.
Where are you going!? The Doctor growled at me.
To the school! I cried back, There must be something going on with the kids.
And what are you going to tell them, were related?!
"Of course we look legit. I'm blonde haired and blue eyed and you're brown haired and brown eyed! We're totally related!" I called back before jumping up the hill. I stumbled a bit but managed to reach the school yard.
Who are you? one of the school yard attendees growled.
A friend. I looked at a younger boy, maybe ten or nine years old. I peered into his eyes but he stared blankly past me.
We are coming.
Whos coming, whos coming?! I shook the boy a little and the children fell silent. The next second they sprung back into action.
Did I do something wrong, Miss? the boy who had been firmly in my grasp cowered from me. I let him go staring blankly off at the concrete. I glanced at the Doctor who was still in the distance checking over Mary who was swatting at his hands. I stumbled down the hill and came to join them.
Would you stop that, I dont know what youre talking about. The blonde muttered shielding her eyes, That hurts my eyes, stop it. The Doctor lowered his hands defeated.
She cant remember every muttering those words. The Doctor slipped his glasses on, pulling at Marys cheeks and face. She sighed and seemed to give in to the Doctors tugging. We are coming. He muttered, Maybe we can analyze the wavelength on the TARDIS-
Whatever it is, its affecting the children. I said glancing at the school, Were at Bethany Lutheran Elementary School
Were in Port Orchard. I glanced to the Doctor, I need to find my little brothers.

Well an accurate story has to end when the series ends. Like...I'm probably going to have to stop eventually. I'm already weaving around other events... So xD Maybe when I reach 100.
